Going through the woods in search of truffles is one of the most genuine and intense emotional experiences that our territory can offer. If you want to live an authentically Tuscan experience, our estate embraces the natural truffle ground in the Mediterranean scrub forest that together with the precious Brunello vineyards surround it and it is in the exclusive truffle ground that the “scorzone” and “marzuolino” black truffle hunts take place, with dogs and the tradition of Augusto and Franco.
In the hilly setting of the splendid Val D'Orcia, in the heart of Brunello, it will be suggestive to understand and learn the characteristics of the truffle, its history and the techniques to look for it (and find it).
The experience will end in the best possible way by immersing yourself in a riot of flavors and aromas, tasting truffles paired with dishes of our production and tasting Montalcino wines.
Please Note: On May the hunt is rested by the Tuscany Region.
harvest period:
  • The harvest period for Marzuolino is from 10 January to 30 April.
  • The harvest period for Scorzone truffle is from 01 June to 30 November.
